Hello! my name is Alesha Horton
I have recently graduated receiving my degree in graphic design with a certificate in web and motion design. My second degree is in fashion merchandise. I'm looking for a career in graphic design with an emphasis on fashion.
My skills include being well-versed in Adobe Creative Suite. The specific programs I am proficient in include Photoshop, Lightroom, InDesign, Illustrator, After Effects, and Animate. Web programs I'm familiar with are Shopify, WIX, WordPress, Mail Chimp, and Wrike Project Management. Along with those, I have a basic understanding of coding, those languages are HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Along with my graphic design skill, I have experience in the fashion world. Through my studies at San Diego Mesa College, I learned how to create visual merchandising displays, how to lead a team through the design process, and how to coordinate the annual end-of-year fashion show. While continuing my studies I was an Intern for the famous Zandra Rhodes. I learned how to coordinate major events like fashion shows, galas, and charity events. As well as organized press books, and hosted model castings and fittings.
Now that I have recently graduated from Riverside City College I am ready to start a new chapter in my life. I’m looking forward to starting my career as a graphic designer.
